Helifix is the undisputed brand leader in the design and manufacture of wall ties, fixings and masonry reinforcement and repair systems, used by building and construction companies throughout UK and the rest of the world.
Consistent with growth, Helifix now generates user enquiries at the rate of 40-50 per week, through a combination of trade press advertising, exhibitions and seminars. Most end-users are building and construction companies, but other key customers include local authorities and Housing Associations.
All these enquiries from both existing and new customers need logging and tracking and their results analysed. Once logged, leads are passed to a team of Helifix representatives on the road, and to some 37 approved installers around the UK.
The main reason for installing ProspectSoft CRM Software were:
- Improve management of enquiries with timely and accurate logging and distribution, plus tracking and analysis of resulting sales.
- Make all documents, including CAD diagrams, available to engineering, admin and sales staff, in the office or on the road, in a secure manner.
- Enable office and field staff to produce quotations, then to follow-up resulting sales on into the accounting system Allow non-accounting staff, including those on the road, to access stock or delivery information.
Helifix began implementation of a ProspectSoft CRM system in March 2004, which comprises 19 users, 11 of them mobile. it supports all field-based sales and engineering staff and means that:
- Helifix can log, track, then analyse the order value of all enquiries by source (advertising, trade show, seminar).
- All outgoing and incoming documents and CAD diagrams are accessible to all users, including those on the road.
- Integration with the Opera II accounting system enables all CRM users in the office and on the road, to prepare quotations, then convert them directly into orders in Opera II SOP.
- Opera II Integration also enables ProspectSoft CRM users to access stock, price and sales data.
