KV2 Audio manufactures a new generation of advanced, high-definition loudspeakers for the professional audio market in theatres, leisure complexes, education establishments and clubs. Bands and musicians also use KV2 Active Speakers for live concerts. Worldwide headquarters are in Washington State, USA, while R & D is based in Czech Republic and the UK office is in Essex. UK customers mainly specialist installation contractors, managed by a team of three field sales people.
As KV2 Audio UK's sales staff are not office-based, they needed to access and share customer information with the office and each other. In January 2003 an 8 module ProspectSoft CRM system was installed on a server in the company's IT supplier Ranmor, with a broadband connection to the three sales people's homes.
